Ooh I have a maxi dress that I love to death but I am having so much trouble figuring out what kind of purse and shoes to pair it with!
The best shoes to wear with maxi dresses are flats, a nice leather sandal whether it's a fun flip flop or a gladiator type sandal will be a great fit. Try something like this one:

Or some summery wedges would be fab. As far as a bag, there are many options that would work but an oversize clutch would be great with the maxi dress as well as stylishly up to date.
