Yes, they are new. Those are actually the ones I mentioned in my newsletter that I was going to get in white. But then I went to South Moon Under and they had the shoe for $39 (they are $50 at Steve Madden) but they didn't have the white ones. So, I decided to get the orange and get a different pair of white sandals later. :) These will be perfect for Key West!
