I love bargain shopping. One of my favorite Seinfeld lines is when Kramer announces that "Retail is for suckers!". As crazy as Kramer is, he is kind of right on this one. Why pay retail when you can get things at a discount? My top is from Neiman Marcus' Last Call, the cardigan is from the BCBGirls outlet (and they were having a 50% off sale at the time), the handbag is from Marshall's, skirt from Target and shoes bought at Loehmann's. You can get the right brands and the right look without paying a lot.

This outfit shows the power of accessories. Without them, this outfit is just a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. But with the right accessories, it becomes a stylish Saturday night outfit.

Wishful Shopping:




I've been craving a little leather jacket for fall. I would wear this one by Kenna-T over a dress as soon as it starts cooling off and then pair it with jeans in the fall. Too bad I'm on a shopping diet this month because this one is on sale at Nordstrom for $188, down from $473.

Next Thursday, August 28th, I will be speaking at a shopping party at Current Boutique. I'll give a brief presentation on fall fashion and then I'll be around to dish out style advice.
